Now that Sub4Sub is dead, we can ACTUALLY start supporting each other.

I've been making content for 6 months and haven't even broke 40 subs! How do you PROMOTE?
Link me your channel and I'll give some constructive criticism as to why you aren't growing

No plugging your channel and if you want feedback then ask for it in someones Critique Others thread.
Dude I suggest finding your niche! both on this channel and my other one. thats what helps. And making quality content. Not generic content. you have to think. Would A random person watch this if i showed them on the street. at least thats what i do.
Hey, I REALLY appreciate the input! Yeah, I’m shooting for this self-improvement niche (which is what I’m passionate about), but I think I can do it better (or at least differently). I use traces of animation and comedy to make self-improvers feel more “comfortable” than in a professional “be your best self” kind of atmosphere. I’m having trouble finding the audience, I think, but you would think it’s just self-improvement followers
can you send me your channel? im interested in checking you out/
Sure thing, I will DM you
Get insta famous, tumblr famous, Reddit famous. Then promo your channel!
The YouTube community killed sub4sub by not subbing back and just wanna spam links. These new youtubers are not here to support each other

Why is sub 4 sub dead
They changed the YT rules and if you sub and don't watch the content they will remove you. It prevents just clicking the sub button.
That’s awesome. I was wondering what the subscriber drop was from the other month when they changed things up. I would love to know my subscribers are actually into what I’m doing.
So will pewdiepie lose millions of subs now beacuse of the people that dont watch him anymore
Yeah lol. I mean you just have to watch a little bit to not get removed.
It's still going going on in the youtube comments section and Facebook is the worst on for it because I still see these sub 4 sub statuses.....
I was in a group because it was titled increase YT views (and something else). Naive me joined thinking cool a group to generate discussion on how to increase views. Every post S4S. After a few days I made a post about is this all this group is about. Someone replied basically yes (I hadn't dropped a link to my channel or made a comment up until then) I made a comment back along the lines of boring - thought there would be discussion on how you could do it legitimately. Then the mod jumped in. We had a conversation then I gave up. Then I saw a post saying I know need 900 subs to get to 1000. That was it from me. I was sarcastic back -"Only 900 (fist bump emoji)". You know what I got back from my comment? Two people posting me a link to their chanel saying S4S. That was it for me - I left.
To be honest people were asking for Sub for Sub and I was f*****g disappointed when I've checked out there channel because they put no effort what so ever but demanding subscribers, I was getting so close to roasting another youtuber called Ali 22 because all he's been doing is sub 4 sub.... But all I did was to leave a whole pile of dislikes on his channel..
I stopped doing it because a hour later they unsubscribe anyway so sub4sub is useless
Or even a few days of weeks later they unsubscribe...
Lol. I guess occasionally out of it you may find something to follow but more times then nktnits just rubbish. Note to self - make sure I stay on your good side. :)
Let the mods do their job

Not the way to do it lol. You aren't allowed to.post links unless someone asks. Btw.
Thanks for letting me know this platform can be confusing didn’t kno there were so many rules
I would recommend reading the rules then before posting if you don't want to break them.
lol too cool for rules
You guys need to calm down with all these different rules. Reddit is the only platform I've been on where the people are so sensitive, like a post or comment is hurting them. It's only social media, not your life or your job. If you're going to enforce rules. Please get paid for it.
If you don't like the rules the you don't have to come here.the rules were made so this place doesn't become a dumping ground for videos or nothing but people asking to look at their channel.
Not your job. Get one that pays lmao acting moderator
Dude again it's only a social media platform it's not your life, so stop acting like unless you're getting paid. It's sad to see that people make social media their life. What someone else post is not going to kill you. Get off of Reddit and go live your life. Shit is pathetic
People were supporting each other here before YouTube started cracking down on s4s. What kind of support are you looking for?
Sub4sub lol
uhh im talking about the people who would just ask for it and think its "growing"
I know who you're talking about. What does that have to do with the support that is given on a daily basis in this subreddit?
I mean before the YT Update with sub4sub that's what a lot of post resorted to. This post was simply meant to be a statement. Not saying people didn't support before. But now smaller creators that did that can find other routes to make sure they are growing.
YouTube enforcing a new rule more than likely isn't going to change anything. The posts will still be made because those type of people don't get it. All they want is numbers. I was questioning why suddenly that will change how this subreddit functions with giving support.
but you cant disagree when before that update there was like 3 posts about sub4sub per day. and thats not the way to grow.
