New to lolita, are there bag rules?

I'm looking into buying my first pieces of my wardrobe, I've looked into how to put together coordinates, and I'm ready to commit to buying it.

But I have a hang up, I am really attached to an Ita bag that my wife got me to display my pins, buttons, and charms I've gotten over the years from collecting. Its a black leather bag with a clear vynal with a halo glitter in it.... its big enough to carry things I need from day to day.

But is it not okay to wear this type of bag with a coordinate? Is it not? Please help....
