Scale Length for Petite Players

So, I 25(f) am fairly petite- about 5' 0".

A few years ago I had the chance to have a 628mm Kenny Hill Estudio built, and I love it! However, the body of the guitar still seems large in comparison to my own build. Been thinking about getting a 3/4 scale to travel with. Has anyone else around my size had success playing comfortably with smaller scale lengths?

When I was in the process of buying the Estudio I was in between getting a 615 scale or the 628. I was afraid of going too small, but now always wonder if 628 was the right choice.
