As much as I love 'A Quiet Place' there is one thing that bothers me..
Why did they choose to have so many children?
Okay, the answer is they're a couple and couples want to reproduce. It's the meaning of biological life and humans aren't any less affected by that than any other animal. They love each other which means they want to have babies with each other.
And of course after the first two they probably felt pretty confident that they could keep going. They certainly had their situation under control and had a solid plan for the newborn.
But fuck me I could not shake the feeling that, in this situation, they should *not* be procreating. I'm aware that there would be a want to continue the human race and do everything in their power to prevent a complete extinction of humanity but goddamn is that shit *risky*. So fucking irresponsibly risky.
Still a fabulous movie though.
