Sharp extreme pain in penis / urethra after a cholic: what is it?

I'm currently waiting for surgery...or if I'm lucky for the stone to pass. My doc and me think the stone might be in my bladder right now. Four weeks ago I had the worst pain attacks / colics yet....since then its been just a dull pain in my back / kidney area and if I stop the Tamsulosin I need to pee every 10-15 mins.

Now I wanna ask the experienced stoners this. After my last colics four weeks ago, that night and the morning after I had a terrible sharp pain when peeing. It was not the stone (at least...I don't think it was). It even made me scared to pee.

Where does that pain come from?
