Question: Trying to shift to online hosted...
Hi,
Need some guidance, trying to shift to online provider, reason being convenience, security (simpler to haul large files) and can only carry so much. I want to start out small, use a seedbox without paying a ridiculous amount, now my Linux skills could use some serious improvement, and I know Docker exists...
So far, I've come across Seedboxes (ridiculously expensive), Openflixr (still trying to figure out how I can host this online, image isn't very friendly to work with -- i just don't know how)... also from time to time, I would like to use it as a VPN proxy, I know Linux as the tools, but I'm uncertain on how to do it all.
Idea is to use the cheapest hosting provider with modest 50gb storage, I would just rsync locally, and use the cloud to fetch the files.
Do you guys have any distro, or package that can accomplish this feat, in a simple manner?
Thanks
