No, you’re NOT a gamer

I’m so sick of all these people who think they’re gamers. No, you’re not. Most of you are not even close to being gamers. I see these people saying “I put well over 100hrs in this game it’s great!” that’s nothing, most of us can easily put 300+ in all of our games. I see people who only have the Nintendo switch and claim to be gamers. Come talk to me when you pick up a ps4 controller then we be friends.

Also DEAR ALL WOMEN: Pokémon is not a real game. Animal crossing is not a real game. The sims is not a real game. Mario is not a real game. Stardew Valley is not a real game. Mobile games are NOT.REAL.GAMES. put down the baby games and play something that requires challenge and skill for once.

It does not matter dude, just because you are more into some games than others are does not mean you are a gamer and other are not. They like playing games ? They are gamers. Mobile games? Still a gamer. Nintendo games? They are still a Gamer. Stuff like this gives the gaming community the toxic image it has in front of everyone and it is just something a 5th grader would say.

Also gamer is not a unique or a cool identity to gatekeep.

A gamer is someone who plays video games I don’t know why you are this stupid but oh my god you are dumb because you bring toxicity into this community. A gamer is someone who plays video games doesn’t matter how long or what type of video game they are playing from which they are still playing video games and that is enough to make them a gamer. Also playing video games does not have to be stressful because of people like you who say you have to put in 300+ hours MINIMUM it doesn’t matter. So, just stop, shut up, and think about how you have came to this
