My ACL recovery Amazon shopping list.

Folks have been asking. Approaching a weekend, wanted to share some recommendations for things I bought that made my life easier.

Most are pretty cheap, but the one that’s expensive is the most important. Get an ice machine. I truly believe it’s a big part of why my recovery has been smoother and easier and opioid free. Another tip is to use frozen water bottles to save ice.

When I watched videos of other people’s recovery, they complained endlessly about the pain of their first shower. Mine was quick and easy.

Other items: a cane. Shopping now and so happy to be off crutches!

A headlamp. Crutches occupy your hands so your phone light won’t help.

A fanny pack/bag! Same reason as above and you’ll need to carry stuff.
