Second yard sale: ISS Pro Evolution Soccer
Also got an NES with 8 games including Contra and an SNES with 5 games including Turtles IV for $20 each.
Happy Spring Break.

Sheesh. What's your strategy for finding yard sales with video games? Do you have a search alert for 'yard sale games' on Craigslist?

Yard Sale Treasure Map, asking, getting there early and a lot of luck. One of best yard sale scores I ever got was because I asked a guy. He looked at his wife. she nodded, and he went in and started pulling out boxes of quality NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, PS1 and PS2 games. He knew they had value, but way undervalued them. Like $15 for Earthbound as an example.

Oh Lord. The holy Grail.
3
I’m sorry, did you just say EARTHBOUND FOR $15??
2
Damn dude, stellar haul especially at that price.

Incredible! Season is starting out great for you!

Some poor kid is probably away at college while his parents clear out his room and sell his childhood game collection lol
5
Grows up, gets a nice job and nostalgia for his old games kicks in hard. Starts casually collecting and finds this sub, ah the great collector's circle will then be complete.

Baten Kaitos is so underrated. Wish we'd get one for Switch.

Oh you know just causally buying some of the best games ever made for cheap lol. Sunshine, Twilight princess, windwaker, ff7.... amazing score

What state are you in?
3
Alabama.

That's all the main GC games I had when I was 20. You find those in NC?

Alabama

Amazing finds! $3 for the Wavebird?
3
Yep.

Love some yard sales. Not quite the season yet for Ohio. Getting close though!!
2
Wow, vastly under-valued for Legend of Dragoon and the Zelda Collectors' Edition alone.
I think I paid like $44 for the Zelda CC back in the day
2
Dope sunshine grab

You just got me excited for this year's yard sale season! Congrats!
2
Good god that is a great haul. Congratulations!
2
Hate that it’s still too cold up here in NJ. But soon... :)
2
Nice! I found a GameCube with everything but a controller for $5 once! I had to buy games online, I could only wish they had games like yours too!
2
Daaaaaaaaamn! $3 each for the Zelda games alone is a steal. Factor everything else and it is a goldmine. Nice grab!!!

Seeing these posts has 100% convinced me to stop at any yard sale I see.
Definitely. Even ones that don’t look like they’d have games. I had one last year, an elderly lady in a wheelchair had her deceased son’s NES/Genesis/SNES collection. Tons of great games. She thought about selling them but couldn’t part with them unfortunately. I gave her my number and still hope one day I will get a call from her.
Completely understandable from her standpoint. He probably loved those games and that is a way she can still feel connected to him.
It's all random. I went to a ton of garage sales and almost all of them were terrible. The one that was great scored me a big box of GameCube stuff, including the component cables, for around $10.
It's definitely worth it to check each one and ask if they have any games.
Yes and even if you don't see anything, ask if they have any old games. You'd be surprised at how many people will say yes and go dig something out to sell to you.
Thanks for the pointer. Would’ve never thought to ask this.
Definitely. I got Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for $1 at one.
