[Help] Transatlantic transport of an 18m Husky male

Hello all, my wife is soon (10-06) moving in with me in the Netherlands from Mexico. We're looking into how to bring her 24kg / 50 lbs Husky with her. Her ticket is with KLM.

So my question(s) is the following:

• Will a dog of this size be admitted in cabin?

• If so, does he need to go in a crate?

• If not, same question and how does the procedure go?

• What are typical costs associated with this?

• What kind of preparation (training) is necessary for something like this?

The husky is about 18m old at that time.
