Financial Guilt Over Spending Money On A Rig

I don't know if this is a serious enough issue that it actually warrants discussion, but it is to me.

I haven't actually built the rig yet, but I am struggling to justify spending money on what is essentially a complete luxury for me. I only have a midrange build in mind, but if I do pull the trigger, it will be my biggest single purchase to date.

I imagine that most of you aren't necessarily swimming in money, and I know gaming PCs don't have to cost thousands, but this is still a difficult decision for me, especially since I already have a laptop that suffices for my productivity needs, and a console(damn exclusives).

Did any of you struggle with this before eventually committing to do it? If so, do you still think about the money you've spent?
