Russiagate Slam Jam part 3 or "Why the hell did progressive media push this shit while everyone hated Hillary?"

So we've established that Hillary lost to a game show host. We also established that the intelligence services failed to find evidence. And we established that the media (MSDNC and CNN) benefited from a grift by pushing a conspiracy theory that only paid actors got something out of. Russia Madcow got ratings along with other news networks by not reporting all the parts of the story.

But today, we're talking about progressive media. Oh, and Hillary. Because Hillary's lies and grifting should always be on display at why she lost to a game show host.

For the Hillary segment, we can't forget why people hated her. Besides horrible foreign policy, her direct involvement in Libya's slave market creation, and her wonderful personality that we pointed out in the first place, she had the Clinton Foundation which was a money laundering scheme for access to the president by corporate ends. The first two are most important:

Selling access to the U.S. State Department

Sketchy foreign donations from abusive nations

Yes, it's true that she's also giving money to her husband and that's corruption. But not only is this influencing foreign policy, but all of this money ignores the fact that Clinton was far more evil than Trump by doing what he was doing on a larger scale.

By progressive standards, the greater evil was Hillary Clinton. Trump is incompetent. Hillary is part of a neocon matrix and people wanted to throw a monkey wrench into that bitch's plans. "You don't want to give us Bernie Sanders? Fine, we give you Trump."

Not to mention that Hillary left little to the party itself while giving it debt and austerity. So her anointment was underway. And the people didn't know about it.

So did progressive media report this? In a sense, but a lot of people thought she was president. For our purposes, we're going to talk about Democracy Now and TYT. Before the convention, Amy famously got onto MSDNC and pointed out the discrepancy with Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. TYT was pointing out that Sanders didn't have the votes and began to push her. DN! was pointing out the discrepancy but also ran a similar issue. I can point out that when they looked at the voter purge in NY, it wasn't as hard hitting as it could be by Juan Gonzalez pointing out that the NYC board was incompetent. Not malicious (this would go on to allow Cynthia Nixon voters to be purged but isn't going to be part of this discussion)

Basically, TYT and DN! were in the tank for Hillary's anointment while ignoring the fact that she was under indictment (with DN! reporting these issues as well as Comey). But they BOTH transitioned to team Hillary for a more business as usual type deal that came to bite them.

The question is why? Why did both abandon Bernie Sanders? This was the building tension point. As the Greens came into the picture with frustration at the DNC for the convention, November 9 was shaping up to be a point of glory for the liberal Mitt Romney...

That was... Until she lost to a game show host.

For these two shows and certain "progressive" pundits, something changed. For me, I moved from KPFA coverage because I couldn't stand the donation drives any more. It was all about Trump and Russia from David Cay Johnson and ignoring other aspects such as the intelligence agencies.

TYT had made the announcement to go MSNBC-lite when they decided to support Hillary in the primary. By undermining Bernie Sanders and not reporting Jill Stein enough, they made it really clear, they weren't the home of progressives.

Likewise, DN! seemed to ignore the voting issues raised by the Democrats. Sure, they covered it, but the minute that Trump got into office, their donation drives were nonstop Trump-Russia collusion.

Want to know why I went to Jimmy Dore and Jamarl Thomas? I didn't mind donating to KPFA. But doing so by constantly having donations for Trump as president was ridiculous. There were other issues to pursue and cover. Likewise, TYT ignored a LOT of issues to only pursue Trump and Russia.

This media bubble took the air for anything else. How about voter suppression and other issues of purging? Didn't get covered enough because Trump. Where was the coverage of the Clinton emails as they failed to report the issue? Where was the investigation and coverage of how the Russians hacked the DNC and those specialists?

That would be William Binney and Ray McGovern. And they were left out of the conversation.

Overall, progressive media failed to do the job that a Jimmy Dore or Jamarl Thomas did. Even though DN! has had on Noam Chomsky to debunk Russiagate, it was very obvious they failed to do so in real time.
