Listened to Alan Watts talk about god before bed.
I've lucid dreamed before and had a phase where I would try to do it all the time. I wasn't very successful. I probably managed it on average about once per week during my height.
Anyway I've not really thought about lucid dreaming too much for the last year or so and I don't think I've had any, at least none that stand out.
Last night I fell asleep really early then woke around 1am. I didn't feel as tired so I put Alan Watts - Nature of God on YouTube to listen to as I went back to sleep. It was really philosophical and got me thinking quite profoundly. Then throughout the entire night I kept becoming lucid. I was even lucid during the transition between waking and dreaming. A few times, I have been sort of lucid at this stage, but here I was fully aware of the transition and it sounded and felt like going into a tunnel on the underground.
As I hadn't planned to become lucid, I struggled to gain full control but I had ample opportunity. If I'd prepared for it a little more then I could have had an entire night full of whatever I wanted! Anyway, just thought it was a useful tip for anybody struggling to reach that state - listen to something philosophical and mind-expanding before bed. :)
