How’s your 10x10 going? April update

We’ve fallen behind on our 10x10. Severely. It’s our first one, and we’re not giving up. We picked games that can be played with only two, or a group since we have our monthly meetup at our place. So far we’ve only played games at our meetup.

Played Dragon n Flagon this weekend, really enjoyed it.

Pre-edit: went to upload a picture after i wrote the above, but it’s not on my phone! I’ll update after work.

Only played 10/100 times. I need to speed it up.

This is our first challenge as well and even though we’re behind, I’m really glad in what it has accomplished - getting games to the table more. Hoping that all challengers can have more fun with their “10x10s” than without them.

We’re sitting at 17/100 on our board after last night. We’ve played other games as well, which I’m also happy about.

Our board is slightly unconventional partly because we’re newer to modern board games. It consists of 17x5 and 15x1.

We gave up on 10x10. We would never play one game 10 times a year let alone 10.

I have played one game on my 10x10 close to ten times. For the rest, it's been once or twice at most.

I think I'm gonna give up ... again. I only made mine a 10x5 and we're currently sitting at 4/50 plays.

In the past I tried using these challenges to force myself to play more of what I already own and to not buy so many games. It didn't work ... I failed the challenges and kept buying games. Now that I've all but stopped buying new games anyway, these challenges just feel like an obligation to play something else instead of what I actually feel like playing at any given time.

Wasn't exactly a goal of mine but looking at stats, I have 3 at or over 10, 3 more at or over 5 plays. Another 5 at 3+. Have 77 plays total so far this year (probably slightly higher than that in reality).

We started Jan 1st with our first one and we are 51% complete which I’m pretty excited about. We’ve played some other games throughout the end of winter here, but our 10x10 is

Your new post caused me to check out Trash Pandas. Looks fun! Can you share some of your experience with it?

Yeah! We wanted something new to us and on the lighter quick side on our Ten by Ten. A great mix of Push Your Luck mixed with Set Collection, and just a dash of Take That. Great, fun fast filler where everyone is involved in between your turn.

Checking my tracking, I'm at ~36/100 plays right now. I'm at 6/6/4/4/3/3/3/3/2/2 plays, although that's a bit flexible as I'm counting my 10x10 organically rather than committing to a fixed list of games. Total of 59 plays of 30 games overall.
