[WTS] AD15, 20CV Grip, Custom A2 Field Knife [B,C,A] Puppers' vet bill recovery sale
US only for these sorry folks; shipping and fees included in the price of the knife.
SOLDAD15 - $160 [B] was bought new from BladeHQ, carried a while, put nano oil in the pivot, cut some packages open. That's it. Still shaves and besides some pocket fuzz hiding in the scales it's pretty much new. It has been broken in quite nicely as you can drop it shut like an axis lock if technique is good enough. Hate to get rid of it; been wanting one for a while... but need to help recoup from my puppers' vet bill.
SOLD 20CV Griptilian - $150 [C] This one has been carried and used for a while but is in great shape. Centering is great lockup is great and action is super smooth.Very tiny snail trail on pocket clip you can see at certain light. Slight scratches you can see in certain light on the bevels. The photos should show you what I mean. The 36 grit BM edge has been polished over the time it's been with me to a smooth shine. Definitely not factory.
A2 Field Knife - $300 This is one I made (Lake County Knife & Tool) out of A2 tool steel at 60rc + true deep temp controlled cryo treat. 400 grit crisp bevels and 220 flats and swedge. Handles and spine are hand sanded up to 1,000 grit. The scales themselves are slight tapered towards the butt of the knife with a slight coke bottle shape in the center and front. I ground a fuller out of the center of the scales for the underside of your knuckles to seat in and then contoured it all. This is a very comfortable knife to hold on to. Black CF kydex sheath with green IWB belt loop. The sheath has excellent retention but a slight audible rattle. My knives are warrantied for life if you ever have an issue with it contact me and I'll get it to your liking for sometimes free, or for materials cost (all depends on the requested work) usually quick and free though. Edge ground thin then put a very bitey final secondary bevel edge.
Here's the pupper in question ziggy got attacked by a shitty older big dog and the bite went down in to the muscle tissue a bit by his shoulder so he needed stitches and an 'emergency' visit $$ lol
