For anyone who needs a fan this summer, I definitely recommend the $10 off tower fan. It really feels like a ghetto AC. I might pick up a second one because if this summer is anything like last year im definitely gonna need it

Those fans suck because you can’t even make the Darth Vader voice in them.

I remember these going on sale last year and forgetting to pick some up. Not missing out this year.

I remember going in the summer and they were just constantly selling out, i really wanted to buy a second one just as a precaution

Should have asked for a rain check (when it was on the book). We held some of this for those members that had rain checks.

Thanks for the recommendation! Do you think it can effectively cool down a 12×12 sqft bedroom?

2
Mantin95•

I’d say yes, not like 20° cooler but enough for you to feel comfortable in the room.

Thank you for the tip! I don't like keeping my window open during the night anymore (1st floor paranoia) so I was wondering what I should do for the warmer months.

I have two of those fans, they are really loud, even on their lowest setting. I like them because they sit easily in corners and they produce decent output, but the noise gets to me sometimes.

A 10 day gap between coupon books is a bit longer than usual, isn’t it? Seems like it’s generally 7 or fewer days.

I think during the holidays it's shorter, like 4 days gap. If anything they are sooner now because they used to start on Thursday, now on Wednesday.

Wasn't the Scotts Turf Fertilizer $39.99 last year before discount? I think my store has it at $44.99 this time.

Or did they change sizes?

I bought that toaster oven 3 days ago... is it going to be a hassle getting a price adjustment if I can’t find my receipt?

Costco saves all your purchases to your account.

YMMV. For price adjustments, you will need the original receipt. I believe this is due to people saying "oh no I didn't get a credit already."

To be fair, it's 2019. If their POS system can't track price adjustments and they're relying on the "marker on the receipt" policy they need to perform some updates.

You're absolutely right, this shouldn't be an issue but for some stupid reason it is. I got all kinds of shit trying to do a price adjustment once when I didnt' have my receipt. Finally found it and went back in and they tried to refuse it because I bought it at a different location. Finally got a manager to approve it but I have not been terribly impressed with the service I've received at the service counter due to stupid policies like this. I've worked retail before and these are not things that should be an issue in today's retail world.

I work at the membership (service) desk and I am right there with you. I hate that rule and wish it wasn't a thing. Unfortunately Costco is run mostly by people who have been there since its inception, meaning they're pretty old/unwilling to adapt more modern, fluid technology.

They've done it for me without a receipt but mention I need one next time everytime.

I wish San Pellegrino would go on sale. That stuff makes amazing vodka mixers.

Bought it earlier this year. It’s great. We hardly ever use our oven now.

Disappointed in lack of protein bars. That Nature Valley crap ain't cutting it.
