Stuck in Block City - Looking for a Tribe

Greeting,

My name is MissingNum and I picked up ARK: Survival Evolved 2 years ago, but couldn’t play it because my gaming laptop couldn’t handle it (got too hot). I loved watching people play it on YouTube and wanted a taste of the action. Now I have a proper rig that lets me play whatever I want at the highest settings. Cool beans, right? No.

I currently live in Japan. I am an American. I speak English, and only English. I joined an Official-Asia server about 2 weeks ago and have been having a blast. I built a nice starter base and acquired some good tames, but I’m constantly being attacked by people because I don’t speak/read their language. I’m sure they think I’m hostile or something (I’ve had this issue in Rust too). I don’t think Ark supports multiple character types because my chat box is full of little rectangles. Owned structures too.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love PvP and messing around as much as the next guy (granted, I’m new) but it’s getting out of hand. I’m not complaining about the griefing at all. I joined a PvP server for a reason. Really what I’m hoping for is a Tribe to run around with in this part of the world. Soloing is fun, but can be frustrating sometimes.

If you happen to be in the same region as me, or AUS, I would love to play with you. I can switch servers or whatever.
