Independent contractor vs. Incorporate: Working for a US employer
Hello!
Looking for a bit of advice, please. I'm likely going to be making the jump from being a normal salaried employer over to being an independent working for a different employer based out of the US. This employer has a policy of not making international people formal employees.
Anyhoo, I'm aware of the basics around sole proprietorship vs incorporation (thanks Business Law 100!), but am not 100% informed about advanced legal and tax implications, other than small corporations tending to pay less tax at the end of their calendar year, or any other well-kept secret-handshake nuances.
Other than the above, any advice, caveats, or suggestions would also be appreciated! Thanks!
