An apology to Elizabeth Warren

I’m sorry. In the past, I’ve despised you for being too far to the left of my neoliberal views. I despised you for your protectionism and your anti-capitalist viewpoints. I thought you were hypocritical when you claimed to be a capitalist. I now see that I was wrong. After more thorough research, and seeing that despite the fact that you are still a bit too far to the left, I can see that you are a much better politician to work with than moderate republicans. I falsely believed that moderate democrats and republicans could join together to form a strong neoliberal coalition. I see that is wrong. Moderate republicans have become Trump bootlickers, and the only hope for moderate neoliberal democrats to push through their views is through cooperation with the far left of the party, not the moderates of the Republicans. I extend this apology to most whom I’ve found to be too far left. To AOC.

Except Bernie Sanders. Fuck you. I will never forgive you for 2016. My dying breath will be a curse on your name.
