Do the beasts of the abyss suffer the curse as well?

I'm wondering this for a DnD campaign I'll be running. I think for most monsters I have to disperse them horizontally by layer rather than having a pack of goblins move back and forth between layers for example.

Do all flying beasts suffer the same as humans? Or is it only humans?
