YUP! agreed x1000, lotsa Korean youtubers actually compared it to the New Nudes palette, and since Huda Beauty isn't available in Korea yet, a lot recommended trying this palette.
i was actually interested in the New Nudes but purchased Clio for certain reasons like size (and money fufu 😅)

Yes totally thought the same thing. I don’t like huda’s formula though. This might be worth a try.

how about the staying power of the shadow? do you need to retouch?

after work (6-8 hours) i can still see the shadow, so i would say the matte lasting power is average~good! don't think it's anything to WOW about, but it does the job. i think the shimmers have amazing staying power tho because they don't smudge down onto my cheeks.
i don't really retouch anything besides my oils and lips, so i can't really say anything about that. but i never felt like a need to retouch my shadows with this palette. thanks for reading!

looks like it does contain carmine. the english packaging didn't have an ingredients list which is definitely a minus in my book 😡 so i just checked clio's korean website and put their list through google translator.

Thanks for the review! I was looking at this one for normal wear, but also travel. It looks beautiful. How good does it last? Did any smuch due to eyelids or not? My eyelids make eye shadow smuch so i am kinda wondering about that.

i was actually surprised to see that the glimmers didn't smudge or fall out onto my cheeks. i don't really have major problems with eyeshadow smudge (only eyeliner 😡 ) so take my experience with a grain of salt. think it is average~good!
i think this palette is perfect for travel (has a brush and is smol), so definitely taking it with me for travel over the summer.

thank u for reviewing! u are gorgeous!! I’ve been watching a lot of reviews on this and I actually used to own huda’s new nudes but destashed it so I was interested in picking this up but I wanted more reviews! Defs might pick this up cuz it seems more compact and easy to bring for traveling!

yup, i also have 3ce's overtake and clio's shadows are more pinky undertones. much better for the spring time. 3ce is more beige and nudey, but both are great palettes tho. thanks so much for the comment :)

Can I ask which palette do you prefer more? I’ve been considering both but am not too sure which to get

HM, i would say i prefer clio's just because i like the colors more (more pink than orange), but i also do think clio's formula is better. 3ce's eyeshadow formula is more dry/powdery and the shimmers, while really pretty, are more chunkier. i have some crow's feet/eye wrinkles and i think 3ce shadows accentuate them.
other than that, if you prefer orange/brownish tones i do think 3ce is a better choice and i like the 3x3 palette layout more than clio's 2x5 layout.

Oo thank you! I guess it really comes down to a preference of colors huh,, I’m still a beginner so I might go for the Clio one since it seems easier to work with, although I do like the colors of the 3CE one more. Maybe I’ll save up and get them both lol

I really love the color selection of this palette and was instantly drawn in when Soo Beauty talked about it. This is some seriously popular stuff. I went to so many CLIO shops and other drug stores in Seoul over a weeks time trying to find this because it was sold out everywhere but found one on my last day and spent the last of money. Def a lot of hype behind it but not overhype! Its easy for me to use two colors at a time bc I suck at eyeshadow. since i suck at eyeshadow I use a blending brush for a matte base and finger for metallic/glitters and always use primer and setting spray. Metallic and glittery shades are so cute and just my cup of tea. there is also a nude version and a peachy/nude version as well. if you're on the fence for a new easy palette this is a good cohesive choice. its probably easier to get online than in store ( only in seoul lol ) bc i legit went to over 50 locations and it was sold out. get your hands on it now lol

Clio released three new Pro Eye Palettes for their Spring/Summer 2019 collection, and I picked up the first one called 01 Simply Pink. The palette retails for 32,000 won and comes with 10 eyeshadows: 5 mattes, 4 shimmers, and a crystal glitter (#4 Love jam). I fell in love with the colors when I first saw it, so after it released I bought it right away! Got it through roseroseshop on eBay.
The mattes are easy to work with and are very natural skin-toned pinks that don’t turn brownish/coral when blended (was searching for something like that so I’m so happy it happened!) Very creamy, they don’t feel dusty or powdery which is a plus.
The glitters are really sheer, but they last very well and don’t move around. I like to use them as toppers over the mattes 😊 They are very fine and reflective shimmer, not really like “wet” shimmer though since you can see the sparkles/glitter.
Love jam (#4) is a really special formula that Clio calls a “crystal glitter,” because it has very big chunks of white glitter mixed with two pinky glitters. You definitely need to use your finger for this shadow because it’s kind of patchy applied with a brush. And since it’s so creamy and basically just glitter packed together, it has a lot of fall out in the palette and on the eyes. still gorg tho so u know i’m still using 😡
Overall, I think the shadows in this palette are wearable and pigment of them is perfect - not too strong, but not too sheer. I would say it’s in between Western shadow pigmentation and typical Korean eyeshadow pigmentation. I like to just haphazardly put a color on my lids and I think it’s really good for that. Here’s an easy look I did today using #2, #5, #9 🙈

i'm wearing peripera ink gelato in #8 black tea with milk and peripera ink the velvet in celeb deep rose in the middle. peripera is my fav brand for lip products haha, i already went through 3 bottles of celeb deep rose 😁
and for my brows i use k-palette 3 way eyebrow pencil in #4 greyish brown, ty for reading!
