Am I missing something?

I beat every disease type up to prion on android just by letting everyone getting infected without any symptoms,

so it is never disscovered before everyone is infected, and then quickly making the disease extremely letal.

This has worked every time without me putting much thought to it.

Am I missing something about the game, or just being lucky that it worked every single time so far?
