When they added limited time modes to swbf2, everyone complained. So, they added them as full time modes

All of those modes are now dead.

Deathmatch or Firestorm are dead game modes and yet they are permanent.

I played only 58 games of FireStorm and it's top 1% from all the players in the world. If this is not a dead gamemode I don't know what is. The is only ONE tdm server for EU atm. So yeah, they are dead game modes.

Limited time game modes may be frustrating for a lot of us but from the other hand its clever to have limited time modes.

Creating every map specifically for every game mode to be balanced and fun takes time and its not worth it wasting your time on game modes the majority of the community may not like and may abandon in the long run(F.E like rush in BF1 which didnt received well by the community at all).

Ofcourse Rush and Squad Conquest both were received well by the community because they were suited with the core gameplay of BFV and thats why they are adding them back and expanding them in all maps.

Like i said above i like the idea of limited time modes and i get frustrated as well when a game mode i like gets removed but i think that is for the "greater good" so we wont have abandoned game modes and wasted development time.

One thing i dont understand though is...why would they release a DUO game mode for firestorm for a limited time only while it was working very good and everyone liked it and even if duos had issues just patch them over and dont remove it at all.Maybe there is a simple explanation behind this(or not at all) and i really hope duos,rush and squad conquest will come back asap.
