Sever pelvic pain and bloating for 6 months

Som I’m 34 years old and have had some pretty severe pelvic pain in between periods. I have an appt later this week, but I was wondering if there are things I should be asking my dr to check for specifically?

It tends to be pretty severe pain in the middle of my pelvis and also sometimes on the right side. It’s never the left. I also get very bloated when it happens. It almost feels like I’m carrying around a bowling ball in my lower abdomen and like someone has just repeatedly kicked me in the lower abdomen and feels bruised and is tender to the touch. Intercourse is painful when I feel like this so I avoid it.

I’ve gone to the dr when I feel like this twice already and they do a manual check for cysts and never feel them. They also check for uti’s, which is also a negative. I don’t know what to do to find out the problem and how to relieve my symptoms.
