I just got done sending in my survey support for Cathay.
I hope we can all cause enough of a wave to get GW to support more TW content.

Didn't think to actually mention Total War content in this survey, though I did suggest they post more content in terms of video games on the community site. Wish I saw this vid before turning in my survey.
I was too busy begging for Tomb Kings in AoS.

As for people who love Araby or DoW instead of Cathay, this survey is already too late for them. Any new DLC for game 2 ahead has been planned by CA. Game Workshop won't be able to change that. Any new races if added outside of plan of CA in new World, like Amazon as the least likely in my opinion, will only be added after game 3 is done.
Not to mention, this survey will takes months for GW to notice our pleas at least, and more months for them to make actions if we are optimistic. They can do nothing to affect the current game 2.
Right now game 3 is in production, so it's the best interest to ask for factions that may happens in game 3, like Cathay, Ind or Nippon. It's on time for GW, if they notice the community, they can help CA in development of game 3. And after this, maybe in the survey next year, or next 2 years, we can ask GW to tell CA to do Amazons or Araby, again.

I like how you have the option to say a million times "I don't go to organized events and probably never will", but it then still forces you to describe your perfect event as if you had an inkling as to what the hell you were talking about.

Well yeah, the article introducing the survey specifically points out it's main purpose is ideas for events and to help the community. That means the organized events which is the lifeblood of the hobby as they find more ways to get tabletop players active in going to shops and hobby stores.

yeah, while Loremaster has good intention i feel like him using the Survey for this cause isn't the correct way to go about it. like this survey is for Hobbyist and TT gamer and for them to make useful suggestion for their community. it not really helpful if Total war fan do the survey without knowing half the stuff in the survey is about

I would happily do it, just to increase the chance of Cathay happening in TWW, but this survey is about TT, and unfortunately my connection to Warhammer is through video games only.
Answering all of these questions would feel like a lie, and I do not like that.

Same here. Gave both Araby and Cathay a shout and also asked them to bring back WHFB as a Specialist Game (I doubt it will be - but was worth an effort).

Done! Hopefully this gets plenty of support.
I also added a part about the importance of video games for GW in how they have expanded the hobby massively (Dawn of War 1 and TWW being the main examples). Another was TWW being the 9th edition of the game and the final chance to see parts of the world that we never got a look at.

Cathay has such crazy lore from what little they do have. They could do so much with that area and I think it'd be a huge shame for warhammer fantasy's last big hurrah to ignore them too.

Cathay would be the best faction over there for a "good" or "generic" faction, like empire/high elfs. Kislev is way too far west to fit into the map imo.

I don't think the place to ask for Cathay from GW is from this Survey, it meant for the TT community and people in the hobby. it really misleading using this survey as a vehicle for TW video game suggestion especially when your not apart of that said community.

Here's the copy and paste I made for everyone in case you don't want to write for the very last question:
One of Games Workshop's most coveted Intellectual Properties is Warhammer Fantasy Battles. It was your very first, and probably the best portrayal of High Fantasy for a lot of people, myself included.
With WHFB ending and Age of Sigmar taking off, it has become a growing relic of the past, fading into the obscurity of the "world that was" and the re-releases of Warhammer Chronicles.
The only chance for those new to the hobby, or those of us long beards still grumbling about the good ole days, is to relive the glory through the many video games and RPGs that exist out there. Games Workshop has said that the world of 8th Edition WHFB will live on in such mediums.
Through those mediums, we can FINALLY have a chance to flesh out as much of the older, more obscure lore that never got a chance to get a proper limelight.
If I had one wish, it would be that Games Workshop somehow work towards fleshing out the seemingly rich lore behind distant Ind, the Araby of old, Grand Cathay, all of the many regions that make up a massive portion of the Warhammer map, but are only scantly told about in side banner texts through out rulebooks and the such.
Being able to explore the REST of the undiscovered world of Warhammer Fantasy through games like Total War: Warhammer, Chaosbane, Warhammer Fantasy RPG, and other mediums would be the biggest boon Games Workshop could for me.
