Accessory mode after engine off

Does anyone know how to turn the engine off but keep the radio going?

Just press the start button, but dont touch the brake

Easiest way is:

  1. Put transmission in park, but hold down the button on the shifter (do not let go)
  2. still holding down shifter button, remove foot from brake and hit the start button to turn off
  3. hit the start button to turn back on accessory mode and you can now stop holding shifter button

Don't take it out of gear and press the start button, that will shut down the engine, but keep the accessory mode going.

You will need to put it in park, after that, and cycle the start button (I think 2 times but it may be 3) to get it to shut down when you are done.

Yeah, I just want to roll down a window while I'm parked like once every couple of months and I have to do the dance of things you can push on to make it happen. 99.9% happy with my truck but this is in that other 0.01%.
