Join me as a Boca Raton "Social Assassin"

Calm down Boca PD... this post is in reference to a scene in "Curb your Enthusiasm" where [Larry is named the "Social Assassin" ] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZ8RQ8H3er4) for daring to speak up to people who are annoying / rude / out of line, etc.

I tried something new this season and really enjoyed the results. I urge you all to join me and begin speaking up to some of our ruder residents who violate societal norms like yelling at a cashier for the store being out of soup, complaining loudly to a hostess about the wait time at a restaurant, parking in a fire lane or handicap spot without the need or a pass, making their lack of planning someone else's emergency, etc.

You get the point. I used to handle these things the normal English way, with a quiet death stare and a rise in my blood pressure. Now, I enjoy the confrontation and have been thanked profusely by many of our lovely retail workers for daring to speak up when others just look uncomfortable.

Here's a few recent examples:

Older lady @ Joseph's BERATING the deli staff because she needed a 15lb rib roast for her party and even though she should have special ordered it HOW DARE THEY NOT HAVE IT IN STOCK FOR HER TODAY , HER PARTY IS TONIGHT!!!!!. I'm talking insults, yelling, the whole 9. Social Assassin taps on the shoulder "excuse me maam, could you kindly shut the hell up , You should have planned ahead and are acting like a child". BOOM HEADSHOT. Lady throws her hands up and walks out, I get a free steak on the house.

My wife and I are picking up a few dozen boxes of Duck Donuts to take to the Seniors at the living facility where one of our relatives lives on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We order ahead and since there's never any place to park at the Polo Shoppes , i park next to the donut shop let her out so she can grab the boxes and not have to balance them across the parking lot. Older lady in a Mercedes E Class pulls up behind me and honks like there is a tractor trailer about to barrel down on both of us if I don't move, I'm like, ok she can get around me to turn but, I'll move. I go park across the lot. Lady pulls up where I was idling waiting for my wife, AND PARKS HER CAR IN THE FIRE LANE TO GO INSIDE. Nobody in the car. Social Assassin pulls up behind her. My wife comes out looks confused I've switched places, I wait for the lady to come out and say " WOW you must be in a big hurry for that donut, I'm sorry I made you walk an extra FOUR FEET". BOOM Headshot, Lady starts screaming obscenities at me as I ride off into the sunset.

There is an element of danger here, you could run into an asshole who is willing to get violent or make a scene but most of the time, in this area, it is going to be a rich entitled dickhead who has never been called out on their bad behavior and is too afraid to react.

Try not to be insulting
