Can we do something about wrong password lockout?

Rant

When you get your password wrong it locks you out of the account, for anti-brute force so no problem there.

But, I like many people have many different passwords which are long, complex and remembering which one I used in which game can be troublesome at times.

I have the "remember me" box checked, but every time there's a client update, it goes away upon next reboot (of your computer, not of the client).

Can we have the anti-brute force reset after a while? Or 2 Factor Authentication which can get around this?

Max login cool down should just be shorter. I've been locked out of my account for two days because someone keeps trying to brute their way in, and I even have 2FA. I don't understand what the point of 2FA is if it doesn't help circumvent these attempts.

Yeah, if 2FA is on, the cooldown should be shorter for sure. 2FA basically prevents someone from just brute forcing the password.

Proper implementation of the 2fa would be nice, instead of the lockout timer and the captcha's and stuff

2FA is just when accessing your profile. If you’re logging in from the same registered device, then you won’t be asked for auth code when logging on except when accessing your account specific information.

The current logins are multi-tiered authentication to prevent the risk of accounts being stolen as in the past people didn’t have MFA and there have been people posting that their accounts have been stolen.

It sucks, but it ensures there is no account theft.

This also obviously hurts the actual account owners, but if they’re having issues with this, then the problem is they’re misspelling their passwords. It’s black and white - their password is whatever they have it set to. If they can’t remember it or don’t have it saved or written down somewhere shrug . It’s a slight inconvenience and for the more busier lives could mean they won’t play Tarkov for the day. Thems the breaks.
