I would ask if your belly button stalk will be moved or changed and if it will be "recreated" by sewing the stalk someplace else. That's what happens in hernia surgery to recreate an "innie"

Talk to your surgeon about belly button placement, where perm./dissolvable stitches will be, and breathing...a lot of people feel they have difficulty standing up straight, breathing, and with pain after surgery
