I found an unsettling article.

Remember that website HeartlessAspergers? Well I found an article that's kind of in the same boat: https://www.goodtherapy.org/blog/married-with-undiagnosed-autism-why-women-who-leave-lose-twice-0420164

Unlike HeartlessAspergers here at least there's more 'evidence' for the article's stance in the form of dozens of real women commenting how the article hit so close to home. But the spread of the misinformation that Aspies are heartless is just terrible. Many of the commenters literally admit that their spouse is undiagnosed. In other words: they're not sure if their spouse has Aspergers or not! Anxiety disorders, Bipolar disorder and OCD can be mistaken as Aspergers. The behaviours they describe: gaslighting, manipulation, egoism, lack of love, care and commitment are definitely not exclusive to Aspergers and are more likely to imply narcissistic personality disorder or just a terrible person in general. They also fail to take into account that sexism could have played a part, especially in the cases of couples over 60. Because I can definitely see how Aspie needs plus an attitude that men are entitled to whatever they want is a deadly combination.

Edit: A few women claim that either their spouse had a mask on and completely changed after getting married, or did these things for the entire time of their relationships. I'm sorry but it takes two to tango. A human being can only hide their real personality for so long, so either these soouses are really narcissists or the wives got married too quickly. In the case of obviously abusive behaviour from the getgo I just have very little sympathy for these women, and this goes for any woman who decides to marry an obviously abusive man. There are always signs of an abusive personality, marrying that person anyway is just plain dumb and immature.
