I feel bad with the baristas that deal with this entitled a*hole. 🙄
And this is why I try not to be a Karen or an a*hole at my store.

Not related but kinda related, because it involves a “lifelong gold rewards member!” Oh no!
One time I was changing the condiment bar trash and this guy who dumps 1/3 of his coffee in the trash tried spilling it out again WHILE I was changing the trash. I told him we could always leave a little room or dump it out for him, and he refused saying we always dump too much. I asked him again to not dump it out in the trash, and the only thing he did in response was do this little self-righteous chuckle and say, “Whew boy... you know how much I LOVE Starbucks right? Man, ha, my family and I love it! The coffee is great, and the baristas are always so nice... I’m a lifelong customer. You know I’ve been a Gold Rewards member for the past 20 years right?”
Like 1. We didn’t even have Starbucks Rewards 20 years ago and 2. Even if we did, that means jack. I don’t give a shit if you’ve been a customer for 2 years or 20, if a worker asks you multiple times each visit for you to stop pouring ounces of coffee in our trash, maybe get over yourself and let us pour it out and/or top it off FOR you! There’s a reason I’m asking and it’s not just to inconvenience you :)

My favourite is Gold Rewards members from the USA acting like the status means anything in an Aussie store. Gold Rewards is worth just as much to us as Platinum Diamond nonsense.

I am a customer who didn’t even go to Starbucks for the rewards lol! I mean I understand that companies have to change to adapt ! I used the rewards for mobile!
