Stressed out by the SJW hater guy in r/psychotherapy

🙃 I am usually fine lurking on that sub but the post about the guy who's colleague(s) got him fired because they thought he was sexist really stressed me out.

It's one thing to feel angry about what he felt is an unfair dismissal, but to go full on Jordan Peterson that quickly, and to see those women as vengeful or vindictive, rather than idk traumatised by men maybe (not condoning their behaviour if his representation is correct btw) made me so worried about seeing a male t (which I do, and which I think has been helpful).

This dude experienced one instance like this and went off the deep end hating SJWs. Does he have any idea what women have to put up with? I've been harassed at work, raped (technically), seriously assaulted several times, I've been non consensually touched and shouted at by men multiple times in the last week ffs. I am spoken over constantly. I am called aggressive and stroppy for behaviour that is completely acceptable from men. I've had to listen to male colleagues call other women eye candy or uptight bitches or talk about how we're all naturally bad at maths/tech/whatever else. Not just from 'shitty' men; from men I know and care about. For my whole life. And yet I manage to interact with men every day without the support of a hoard of fucking incels cheering me on about how correct I am.

I hate the idea that a t might be thinking 'huh that's exactly the sort of thing Jordan Peterson says SJWs say, like word for word!' (He said this down thread.) Dude like maybe a lot of feminists all say the same thing because it's true rather than because we're all brainwashed idiots.

Ahh it's so stressful that so many men react like that. I hate knowing what so many of them think of me.

Eta: to anyone who's about to say 'have you actually read any Peterson' yes I have and I agree he's unfairly represented and a lot of the people who've interviewed him are fucking morons and an embarrassment to feminists. However, his views about how women and men naturally are are sexist and the science he's basing it on is extremely questionable. I'm not coming at this uninformed. I have been reading and thinking about this stuff for a decade, and that's not just reading stuff I agree with.
