Do you think it's possible for GB to make some kind of in-game video streaming event where lots of players can join at once to watch the gameplay video? Would sure beat the Twitch stream experience IMO and would allow us to watch and play BL at the same time! Yo dawg, I heard you like borderlands...

Think a map in one of the games that is a massive auditorium. I've seen someone with mods have a game with tens of players... think how cool it would be (and annoying to watch) when something get's shown and everyone starts firing at the "screen". I'm sure they got the resources to make it happen at this time (/s), don't you want to have this in your life?

People who think this idea is dumb can skip this thread :) No need to tell me what you think of massive multiplayer events, this thread is for people who are open minded and enjoy some virtual social interaction.

Is it possible? Probably, yeah. Is it practical? Not really. I'm not familiar with the engine Borderlands uses (or any engine, for that matter,) but I imagine it would take a ton of tweaking to make something like a live in-game way to watch the stream work without any issues.

It would be easier and smoother for everyone to just watch the stream through Twitch, or wherever else it's being shown.

You can obviously watch twitch on steam or outside while playing. I would love to have the ability to watch the game in the game on a virtual screen, with random BL fans. Would be cool AF. Like being in a crowded event and not be all at once!
