General PO/HM Strategy Advice for new Player

General Help

Pretty new player here. I've got only 5* Heroes so far, but I've got a second copy of Norma, Barea, Queen, Starlight, Flamestrike and OD-01 ready. I also got lucky and pulled Asmodel, Xia, Horus and Skerei during the HS Event last week. What I'm missing is fodder ^^

I've also got HW, Sig, Emily, Groo, Ormus, Baade and Blood Blade (and 3 Dragon Slayers, but I'll just use them as fodder most likely)

So, my strategy would be like this: When HM starts, I'd just use my massive 28 Basic Summons and 96,4 Friendship Summons first and see what I pull. Then I'd open my handful of 5* Shards (300, so 6 more 5*s). Then I would PO in Abyss as much as needed to be able to 6* Norma, Queen and Barea. After that I would put the rest into forest and maybe in shadow if needed to complete HM at least partially (I can fuse 2 Dark 5*, but I think I should wait with that until I can actually finish Light as well).

Does this sound reasonable in general? And when should I use the Branches for Prophet's Blessing? I'd appreciate any input :)

Focus on a single hero to build. To do this you need to pick that hero, try and get copies of that hero so you will spend some orbs in that faction. Then you will need fodder in that faction to make said hero 9*. Once you have that you will need another 9* which will most likely be from another faction so you can make your selected hero 10*. Don't waste fodder on building 3 6* abyss heroes that you aren't going to use as fodder (the exception here might be Norma since she will be fodder either at 6* or 9* and is great early on). With that said I would go abyss or Forest for orbs.

For branches, you want to use these for copies of the heroes you need. Let's say you are building valk, use branches on Forest heroes. But don't use them on elite heroes. Use them on heroes like DS, faceless, malassa, groo, or any that you can build from 4*s.

From the heroes you have, pve you will want heart watcher up to 10* and then Horus is your best. If you aren't focusing late game pvp then you prob want to ultimately invest in those 2. If you can do Heroic miracle this week you will get a valk copy and then orbing into Forest would be optimal for you to build valk and hw. Those 2 can carry you through a ton of content

I wouldn’t recommend levelling 3 abyss heroes at once. The generally accepted best way to progress is to rush one hero at a time. Personally I’d go with Barea as he’d be the best for PVE progression. You can 6* Queen and Norma and use those for fodder after you’ve got Barea to 7*

You have to level 2-3 at once tho. I have to make one 6 to make another 8 and another 6 for 9. So he should 6 star 3 of them.

Which is why I said to level one of them once Barea is 7* than levelling all to 6* at the same time

If you have at least 50 orbs you'll get a light hero as a reward from po you can summon. If hm reward is valk, I'd reccomend putting some orbs in ld to finish. Some people are going to scream "TEH INTERNATS SAYS NEVA ORB LD" but if your reward for putting 10 orbs into LD is 5 orbs and a valk... well. C'mon.

Even if you need to put like 15-20 orbs on D/L its worth if you finish HM and get a valk... and u will have a lot of D/L food available for the next HM

Try to finish this HM... good luck!!!

u/OneChet it worked just fine! I needed to invest 10 Orbs into L/D, but was able to finish HM AND even pulled Gerke!

Build barea. He'll take you really far in pve, and easier to get than sig, with about the same effectiveness. He was my first E3, and can get you to aspen hell, seal land 10, and second wave of broken spaces. He can pretty much do any and all pve tasks, but really sucks at pvp.

However, barea isn't that great until he is 10* and up. Not terrible, but that last passive is huge.

I'm also a new player and except barea Sigmund and heart watcher my 5 star are low-mid tier (flame strike. Starlight) Should I also focus on abyss tonight ?

Are those you listed also 5*? If so, you’re so far in the beginning, I’d say just orb forest. That’s the general got-to advice for where to orb if you don’t have a specific direction to go.

Yup they are 5 star , thank you. I just got Valkyrie so I will just focus it I think
