Viper inspiration

Has anyone else read the Cloak series by David Dalglish? I've been trying to picture how to use the Viper and I keep seeing her sort of like Haern the Watcher and have members of the different gangs wind up dead by her hand, the blame for the murders being put on rival gangs.
