Just write to Google or apple and get a refund and stop whining.

Make sure you account is linked to FB or email then go to your phone's settings app > general > apps > MLB Tap Sports Baseball then choose "Force Stop", then go to storage and clear data/cache. Then fully uninstall/reinstall the game and log back in to your FB/email and you the game should run perfectly. Mine starts slowing down again after a day or two but I just repeat the process then I'm set. Apparently a permanent fix is on the way

Did that and i lost my team. Cannot log back anymore. Waiting for glu to help me now. Its been almost 24 hrs

Yeah, not sure if it's just my phone or what but if my game runs longer than like 2 minutes the lag gets really bad.

It's stupid but uninstall and reinstall.. Make sure you're backed up by email or Facebook first
