My dad just forced me to talk to my mother who I am no contact with.

ADVICE NEEDED

This just happened seconds ago and I feel really shaken up. I don't know who else I can talk to who would understand.

I am no contact with my undiagnosed mom for a plethora of very valid reason, some of which I've divulged to you guys, but most of which I haven't. We've been off and on low/no contact for years until finally I had a "straw that broke the camels back" moment almost a year ago. I sent out an extremely well thought out text message (the gist of which was "If you want me in your life you need to get serious psychiatric help and until then do not contact me) breaking contact and from there on out it was no contact. And radio silence on her part which has been a blessing, but I was prepared to send the exact same well thought out text message if she tried to contact me again.

I rarely talk to my dad, even by Facebook messenger or text. He's tried a couple times to talk me into talking to my mom and I've flat out told him no. He knows why we don't speak so he doesn't argue with it, but he does wish things were different.

So about 10 minutes ago, I had a quick tax question, and my dad used to do my taxes so I figured I'd ring him up and maybe have a quick chat. My mom is usually out drinking or playing pool at this time of night so I figured I'd catch him when she wasn't around. Well, he answered and let me know he was with mom and they were about to head out. That set me on edge but I figured I'd just ask my question quickly and get off the phone. I didn't expect him to do what he did as he knows very well my feelings about the situation. So the conversation went as follows:

*After talking about the tax stuff for a couple minutes*

Dad: Okay well we're about to head out so I'm going to let you go.

Me: Okay I'll talk to you later!

Dad: Oh hey your mom is right here do you want to say hi?

Me *Long pause* Uhm... not really no.

Dad: Oh come on she's right here. I'm putting you on speaker!

Mom: Hi honey how are you doing!

We proceeded to have a brief, albeit pleasant chat for about a minute or two before we got off the phone. There wasn't any animosity in it, or any borderline-ness involved with it, but I still feel very shaken up. I'm really quite upset and I feel like I was forced to do something I wasn't ready to do. I understand that he didn't do it from a place of ill-will, and that he just wants things to be better with us, but that doesn't help me feel any better about it.

At this point I'm worried that she's going to think it's okay to text me. It's going to make it very awkward to have to reiterate the reason I still want to have no contact with her. I'm thinking about voicing my upset with my dad.

Am I overreacting? What should I do?
