Sex after D&C?

I only made it 8 days you guys 😳 I had a follow up on day 4 and everything was healing well, and all blood tests, urine tests, and cultures came back negative for any infection. Haven’t bled in 2 days. My OB did say to wait 2 weeks, but hubby and I really needed the connection and it felt right. It was only a short part of the whole session, but did we mess up? I’ve read recommendations to wait anywhere from 2 days to 6 weeks so I’m not sure.
