question about ev parking at ubc
hello,
i am new to public electric charging. I will be at ubc tomorrow and will like to charge my tesla for a few hours. i am able to see the parking lots that have electric chargers but i just have a few questions:
- when i use the EV chargers, i have to print out the receipt from the meter and put it on my dashboard?
- at north parkade, is the limit 2 hours charging?
- are there parking lots where there is no limit on how long I can keep my car in the EV spot?
- are there any sites where I can pay for the full day and just leave my car there to charge incase it may take longer than 2 hours to charge?
- is North Parkade the cheapest 'all-day' parking?
- i have installed the Chargepoint app: will the app still charge me after the car has been fully charged? Do all the EV chargers require the Chargepoint app or do i need to keep another one on

thanks for your time
