Hawks fan here. This is really hard to do but congrats on your season and series win.

I can think of no good reason why the Blues haven't named Berube HC officially yet. The only thing that makes any sense is that they told him they would wait until the season was over to do so, giving them time to court possible alternatives, such as Coach Q. Well, Q is not an option and Berube took a team that was worst in the league to one that is about to enter the 2nd round of the playoffs. It's an amazing turnaround. Blues fans should be extremely proud.

Also, you just beat a really solid team. You did so by being more solid than them, and it's now safe to say Binnington appears to be the real deal. He's played at a high level for long enough to believe that, and having an A-grade goalie in the playoffs can take you far. I suspect you're about to face off against Dallas, which should be a really good series to watch.

I have to swallow my pride to congratulate you, but the Blues earned where they are. I know your club has never won a Cup. Maybe this is the year. At any rate, well done and good luck as you go forward.

Maybe eat shit while you're at it. You know why.
