[COD] Call of Duty 2019 "What Ifs?"

Discussion

These aren't things I'm clamoring for or would be disappointed if they weren't in the game, but it's a fun "What if?" post so I figured going crazy with it.

First: Multi-map matches. We saw this first in Advanced Warfare on the map Recovery. Granted it wasn't the best. I felt the second side of the map felt tacked on and didn't flow as well as the first part of the map, but I liked the premise and was surprised to not see it return at least once since then. Of course with World War II's War mode we did see an evolving map per say, but that was mode oriented rather than a times event like in Recovery. It would be interesting to see something like this return.

Perhaps we are given a timer to run to our friendly black hawks before a Gunship levels the area and we make our way over to another map, rappelling down and continuing the fight. In Dom they could use this as a "switching sides" sequence. That could be better to experience something like that than a halftime play of the game. For other modes I assumed it would be on a timer and for other modes may not exist at all. I know in S&D the other side of Recovery was never accessible.

I'm of course not saying this has to be down for all the maps, but to see something interactive like this would be fun to experience.

Second: Ghosts create a class system. For some reason I was appreciated the point system or the pick 10 system. Getting all attachments for free was nice. Of course there was a perk to add another attachment but at least the attachment you added didn't effect your points. I made a post the other day about reworking the Supply Drop system and how they could add more content like character features. Helmet, hats, gloves, backpacks, kneepads, etc... and I think a return of the Creat a Soldier system would benefit tremendously from this.

Thirdly and Finally: A Forge mode. I think it's time we are given a blank slate, a set amount of items and the opportunity to make our own maps. Something I miss from the old CODs like MW2, Black Ops and MW3 is how much time I spent in private lobbies. Playing Mike Myers, Quick Scoping, elevator glitches, secret spots and just running around trying out classes with my friends was some of the most fun I had as a 13-15 year old kid.

I think a map creation mode like Forge from Halo could be something incredible. Infinity Ward could even have contests for gamemode ideas and perhaps even map ideas. Bungie did this in Halo 3. That's how game modes like Duck Hunt and Griff Ball because a real thing! We're even seeing this today in Fortnite. Epic has given every player the opportunity to create something to be featured on the Block. It could be something special and I think the most important thing Call of Duty needs right now is player interaction. Something I feel hasn't been prevalent in the past few years. Not since Clan Wars died.

Like I stated in the beginning, these are just some ideas I had swirling around in my head. I'm not going to throw a fit or complain if the aren't in COD 2019, but they are some features I would be 100% okay with seeing make their way into the game. Let me know what you all think.
