My local Goodwill has the very rare NASCAR romance novels. Should I have picked them up?

That’s incredible
Where's Kyle Petty when you need him lol
In one of the books, maybe. Carl Edwards is in the one on the left.
Burn it down
I'm a huge reader that considers burning literature a cardinal sin. But I would happily turn those things into kindling.
In that case, I'd better go back to the store and save them.

I had no idea these were a thing. And I actually read romance novels (although I prefer historical ones).
And now I want to get some to read just for shits and giggles.
We did a big series with Harlequin about 10 years ago.
Make sure to pick up the Natalie Decker- JJ Yeley novel where he has an affair with Mike Harmon. That's my personal favorite.
Excuse me WTF?
The NASCAR dark web is an unforgiving place
I need brain bleach now.
My favorite is the Ray Evernham one.
Actually not bad. I read speed dating with my wife.
I thought it was somehow a guide to speed dating as a Nascar fan or something, but then I looked a bit closer and realized what it really was.
This is going to sound crazy, but either my Goodwill has the same books and look or that's the exact same Goodwill I was at earlier 🤔
I mean, it's possible that it's the same one. . .but, all 3 Goodwills I've been to seemed very similar. In fact, I found the same CD at 2 Goodwills that were 5 and a half hours apart once.
did i just read that sentence
I'm sorry, you did. . .
"losing control was exactly what she needed..."
(driver cameo: Carl Edwards)
then there is the non-sanctioned content: "Pole Position"..."Stick Shift"..."Slippery When Wet"...
(i picked up and perused one of these "romance" novels that my sainted aunt was reading...that is when i discovered i was a prude...and this...is after being in the Navy for 6 years where there were a lot of "training films"...a lot.)
Can't believe any scenario where Carl Edwards doesn't get all of the women. Ant other outcome is unrealistic/disappointing.
...Why is it that the first thing that came to mind after looking at that picture was a commercial from the early 2000s that involves some lady getting grabby on Bill Elliot.
Anyways, I've nothing against ridiculous novelty so yeah, pick them up and come back with a book report for the rest of us. I'm dying to know how many scenes in those would amount to Actions Detrimental to Stock Car Racing.
Don't tell my mom lol
I'd grab them.
I'm not sure where to look for it but there's definitely a goldmine of NASCAR fanfiction out there on the internet
There is. I found some once (don't remember where) that had sex scenes with Kasey Kahne. I used to pick out lurid passages and run them through several languages of Google Translate. There was some funny stuff.
I saw a few of these at a Borders years ago. And yes, of course it would be years ago since Borders no longer exists.
They still had the tags from Borders. $6 each.
Wow. And maybe they were from the old East Brunswick, NJ store! I wonder if Barnes & Noble carried them as well.
This looks straight out of the “40% of nascar fans are women” playbook we used to always hear about.
correct
I forgot that these were a thing.
Put it out....for true love.
I still cant believe NASCAR put their name on that. Lmao
Nascar will put their name on anything so you shouldn’t be surprised

Why are you here bothering us then lol
Sorry I thought I was funny. I love NASCAR to be honest, and I think we have a good staff that can produce a good on track product.
