A couple of Nyx's abilitys have been bugged for over 4-5 months

Bug

Ever since the fortuna update dropped Nyx has been unable to use gear items in assimilate you cant even open the gear wheel, this also means you can use emotes either (although this is less important)

Ever since the Nyx rework Assimilate no longer prevents teammates damage being added to your absorb.

Mind control targets are still affected by many Crowd control abilitys including Khora's strangle dome Atlas's petrify and Nova's slow including many other warframe abilitys.

Nyx even after rework wasn't improved. I just don't see why they even bothered at all. The damage scaling on enemies makes mind control and chaos pretty much worthless, as the enemies do so little damage to each other. They need to commit to reworking Nyx into something solid. Sad to see this warframe not get love, imagine mind controlling an eximus that then actually stomped some faces.

if only, IF ONLY they listened to my suggestions, a MC focused Nyx could be viable. (no, it's not ironic, I might also be the only Nyx with a MC focused build on earth, lol).

You are not alone fellow Tenno. I think a lot of us dream of a nyx along these lines. Having one mind controlled BFF to tear through levels with you.

I don't have the specific mods or a picture to share right now, but it's the usual suspects. vitality, as much str&dur as possible, and mind freak. mind control a target, shoot it, let it do it's job. and a melee weapon with life strike to get health back when needed.

I just love the idea of having a mind slave.

I wish they reworked the augment, I have a bunch of different ideas that'd totally change how MC can be used, instead of basically being "moar str!"...

Also Nox's gas when glass is broken still damages you even under Mind Control

One of my favorite abilities is the mind control one, but it doesn't seem to work really well. You can only have one target at a time and they kill nithing.

The AI for mind controlled enemies isn't the best either...

Team damage to absorb was intentional.

The assimilate augment should prevent it but its bugged and it currently doesn't.

Nyx main here - Nyx’s Assimilate still ignores player damage and isn’t depleted by it. Not sure about Absorb as I don’t use it.

It doesn't ignore player damage unless the hotfix that came out today fixed the bug. But sometimes it absorbs damage and other times it doesn't it's not consistent and I haven't yet worked out when it happens.
