Has anyone ever altered time in their lucid dream?

I was listening to an Alan Watts talk last night and one of his famous most sayings is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56blGsmWd9k

& I was asking myself, did anyone ever alter the time in their lucid dream in a way, that it literally feels like you are dreaming several years or even an entire lifetime (80 years+) in just 8 hours of sleep? or anything close to an experience like this? Would that not be a wonderful way to escape reality?

I'm not sure if i got your question totally correct, but:

You can per se, alter time, if you skip a lot of the actual moments.

To answer your question: Yes. I think i have altered time, in a sense - i went from a very young boy, to a 30 year old man in what could have been a few minutes and after a few more minutes, i was ~80, and was kind of dying(in total 10 minutes, i woke up to my first alarm and fell asleep and alarm repeat was on 10 min).

So you can pass time, but not really alter it?

The altering of time happens on its own based on what feels best for oneself. This is why for me, I personally care how "long" the dream feels as much as the connection I feel to the experiencing I'm having
