Barrel Aging a White Negroni

My partner and I just finished barrel aging a Bijou (this 3L barrel's first cocktail). We're leaning towards barrel aging a White Negroni. Before we do so, we were wondering if anyone has any experience barrel aging this cocktail and could offer any advice or words of caution.

When we make our White Negroni fresh, we like doing the following:

1oz Gin
.75oz Lillet
.75oz Suze
Garnish with grapefruit peel

We were planning on using the same proportions for the barrel.

We typically use Beefeater Gin, though we use Citadelle when we can find it – will probably be using Beefeater this time around.

Whad'ya think?
