Looking to Build a new Rig - Gaming/3D Asset Creation
Hey guys,
So I'm looking at building a new rig (I'm in the UK, so we don't get any rebates afaik). I'm going to wait until Ryzen 3 Threadripper's release here, as I want to get the 8 core chip. Intel seems extremely expensive in this range.
Below is a list of my current parts I'm looking at getting. As title says, I'll be using this for gaming along side 3D Game Art assets/Game creation.

My current rig is pretty dated, but I've only recently started notice some performance issues. Current rig:
Intel 3930K (6/12) OC 4.0GHz
32GB PC3-10700H Corsair
Nvidia Geforce 980TiASUSTeK P9X79
PROOCZ-VERTEX4 for OS
4 Samsung 1TB Drives for storage (actually got a NAS now, so dunno why I have these anymore).
Super flower 1200F14MP
Also watercooling from a 110i (I think, can't actually remember).
Cosmos S Case.
I'm also running 3 screens, two dell 1440ps and Acer 144Hz, 1440p.
I'm going to re-use my PSU as it's not very old.
I've not built a computer since 2011 when I built this, and I'm a little... out of touch with current standards.
Basically looking for advise. My budget is between £1500 - £2000. I could probably push it a little more if it was worth it. I mostly play Overwatch (currently on low settings to get those max beautiful Frames), but I also enjoy most games, especially city builders. My main performance issues have happened in 3Ds Max/Blender/Zbrush though. Render times have got slower, and my computer can handle less on the screen, especially in Zbrush where I get noticeable artefacts/FPS drops when working on 2m+ polys.
Thanks in advance!
Feel free to call me a moron if I've missed anything, or my build is complete garbage because I chose the wrong ram or motherboard.
