What is this sub?

As described in the sidebar:

This is a meeting place for Reddit communities which have had their subreddits banned and are looking to reorganize and network before leaving the site. THIS IS NOT BAN EVASION. We are helping users network with each other outside of Reddit. Content from such communities is also not welcome; this subreddit is purely logistical.

This is your last stop on abandoning the sinking ship that is Reddit. We are not a replacement for your banned subs, nor your new home, but a temporary place where you can regroup before your exodus. That said, enjoy your (temporary) stay. If you have any questions, post them below.

Well technically, this sub was completely inactive for three years with no content before I requested it and was granted ownership of it yesterday. ;)

Thats a good feeling. Love taking over a dead sub.

Great idea. Hopefully this doesn’t get shut down as well.

This seems nice. I'm not from any recently banned subreddits (unless you count r/EnoughInternet and r/WatchPeopleDie,each of which I browsed once), but this seems like a good subreddit and I'll be keeping my eye on it.

I think this sub was dearly needed.

great idea but these subs were banned for good reason too

No, they weren't.

Right-wing sub posts mean memes, but bans users who post calls to violence: QUARANTINED, REMOVED

Left-wing sub posts repeated calls to violence which are permitted by mods, advocates censorship of right-wing subs: adored by admins, sought for advice regarding who to censor

Could you be a more obvious progressive censor?

I heard about r/bannedbase, but it looks like some people ended up acting like that sub was a a replacement sub for their banned communities in it's end days (especially with them calling themselves a free speech zone), something we explicitly will not do.
