So after reaching 35 Hunters Call Rep and getting my capstone, it was suggested i post my current strategy for getting Rep

I call this the World Trip

Head from Outpost to Outpost and only stopping at shipwrecks, islands with mermaids statues and Seaposts is the best way to keep your bait levels up.

NEVER WASTE BAIT ON A SPLASHTAIL

Usually I start by raiding barrels on the outpost and down in Athena’s Fortune for bait then sail to the next outpost in the same region and raiding that outpost too

Have at least 1 person constantly fishing off the boat and if on a Galleon a permanent cook who will also be the one repairing and steering between throwing a fish in the pan

Go directly to every shipwreck to loot the barrels for Cooked, Raw and Burnt meats and have the person who goes to islands collect planks and cannonballs from barrels you pass

Keep your ship speed low, your in no hurry to go anywhere and its easier to see what fish is in the water without large waves and speed obscuring the fish thats about to eat your bait.

After running out of the area specific bait you need, head to the next area that uses different bait, Check the fish in your Hunters Call Rep panel to see what fish like but below is for the area specific fish

Devils Roar = Grubs

Ancient Isles = Leeches

Wilds and Shores of Plenty = Earthworms

Keep hitting outposts and having 1 person explore every island for mermaids

Have a voyage down on the table to get your voyage miles

If a Skeleton Ship comes nearby use a grub or 2 to get a Battlegills, as soon as you can see the skeletons on the deck you will be able to get them

If a storm is in your path, get your Leeches out and fish for Stormfish. the moment your bells start ringing from large waves and the rain is heavy the stormfish will spawn, if your very lucky you can be on a shipwreck and have a storm come by and give you the option to fish for Blackcloud Wreckers

When you are near a seapost have someone shoot over to sell the rarer fish unless you plan to stop there to sell all your cooked fish and Mermaid Gems

About an hour in each region while constantly sailing around the map makes for a peaceful fishing voyage
