What does dash (-) symbol indicated in PowerShell?
I am having a hard time finding information on PowerShell, save information on cmdlets. I am studying my friend's script to move files from one folder to another, and to start, I am wondering what the dash symbol indicates. here is an example: $TimeStampGH = "{0:MMddhhmm}" -f (get-date);
I thought -f was an alias for a cmdlet as a first guess, but the friend said it is not, and he had trouble explaining b/c he is new to PowerShell as well and had to get some online help. Thanks!
