New 6mo old GSD from reputable breeder

So I’ve been planning and preparing for a new pup for about 5mo now. I found a very highly recommended breeder Taylor Made Working Dogs! I’ve been planning and researching all about getting a puppy at 8 weeks. Plans changed and I’m now getting a 6mo old pup! He will be crate trained and fully vaccinated now so I can also enroll him in a the puppy classes they also offer there right away. Is there anything different I have to do when bringing home a new older pup opposed to an 8 week? All my google searches have led me to what to do BEFORE or BY the time he turns 6mo of age, not about getting a brand new pup at that age

TL;DR Any difference between bringing home an 8week vs 6mo?
